One Direction - “One Thing”
Ahh, boy bands. I am a sucker for an adorable boy band and One Direction is beyond ADORABLE. In the history of boy bands it is a general rule that there is usually one “ugly” one but there aren’t any in One Direction. They are all crazy cute and precious (and British and Irish! EXTRA SWOON FACTOR!)
I think this song is catchy and sweet and a perfect pop song, and the video is adorable and well, it is written in the stars that every few years I need to give my heart to a boy band (1988: New Kids on the Block; 1998: Nsync; 1981-present: The Beatles) so apparently in 2012 the winner is One Direction.
You’re adorable lads, what can I say? Maybe I will try to get my niece to listen to you so I have an excuse to listen to you unabashedly.
